About Hjällsnässkolan

Hjällsnässkolan is situated in Gråbo, about 30 kilometers northeast of Gothenburg, Sweden. At our school we have 370 students between the 6th and the 9th grade. There are 14 different classes, and a staff of 29 people.

The school is divided into four "work units", each consisting of three to four classes and around 8 teachers. All education in Maths, Science, Swedish, English and Social Science are exclusively handled by each unit's teachers. These "work units" either have students from year 6 and 8, or students from year 7 and 9.
