The municipality has one department, called kommunförvaltning. The department is divided into five sectors.
The sectors are:
Education (lärande),
City planning (samhällsbyggnad),
Social services (individ och familjeomsorg),
Care for elderly and disabled (vård och omsorg),
Administration (infrasupport).
Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer is ultimately responsible for the municipal employees and the work they do. As the first municipality in Sweden, Lerum has a shared leadership:
