Resource team
The pre-schools and compulsory schools have the assistance of a resource team consisting of counsellors, psychologists, remedial educationalists, school nurses, field secretaries and two teaching groups, Lindénska Villan and Park School.
Children of foreign background
Children of foreign background quickly become part of a Swedish context in their class. This stimulates good language development and self-esteem. At the same time, the Swedish children gain increased understanding of and insight into other cultures.
Children of foreign background get the extra support in the Swedish language that the pupils need during their first school year.
Pupils receive a pupil introduction of at least 10 hours in their mother tongue. Every effort is made to arrange modersmålsundervisning (mother tongue teaching) right from five years of age.
Mother tongue
