Nursing, community care, accommodation for the elderly and service can be offered after your needs have been assessed on the basis of the Social Services Act. You are helped by an assistance officer, who gives you more information and together with you makes an assessment of what need of assistance you have. Assistance can be granted to both older and younger people.
 
You are welcome to contact the assistance officer for your area. He/she is responsible for the inquiry and decisions on all initiatives, except for support to persons with intellectual functional impairment. The assistance unit has telephone times from 08.30-09.30. You are also welcome to visit us, please go to KomIn (the citizen's office) which is located at Bagges Torg in Lerum.
