Welcome to SFI, Swedish for Immigrants, in Lerum. The teaching premises are in the same building as the refugee section’s office. We have no waiting-lists for teaching, so you can start directly on arrival. It takes different times for different pupils to gain SFI grades or language certificates. It depends among other things on how accustomed you are to language studies, your interest in the studies and your attitude to participation in the community.

 

You get social studies through visits by various people and officials with knowledge of authorities, laws, rules, culture and much more. We also make study visits to interesting places in Lerum and our immediate surroundings. You study Swedish in the morning or afternoon, Monday - Friday. You can combine the studies with job experience or work.
